Our lesson curriculum starts at a Level 0 for learning the basics and runs through a level 4. Below is a list of frequently asked questions. Q: Who can book a lesson? A: Anyone! We teach kids, teens, & adults of all skill levels. Q: Will I be taking a lesson in a group or by myself. A: Just you. Every lesson that we give is catered to your individual need. Q: How do I book a lesson? A: Follow the link "Click here to view prices and times" and it will take you to a page with the different lesson packages we offer. Find one that you think fits your ability level (click the "Learn More" tab on each package to read more details and see our score cards). Once you have decided on a lesson package click the "Book" button. You will then be taken to a page where you can select a time and complete the booking process. We will follow up with an email to remind you about your lesson. Q: What is the score card for? A: We developed these score cards to help you understand the steps that we work through. You can also use the score cards as a reference for what to practice on your own. Q: How do I get to your shop? A: Click here for a map and directions. Q: What do I need to do once I get to your shop? A: We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the lesson. If it is your first time we will need you to sign our release waiver. If you are over 18 you can sign it yourself. If you are under 18 we will need a signature from a parent or guardian. You can print your own copy of our release waiver by clicking this link: Q: Can I bring someone with me? A: Absolutely. You can have a friend or family member ride in the boat during your lesson. Often times we have two people book lessons back to back. It works out well because they learn a lot from watching each other. Q: Can I take two lessons in one day? A: Sure! We actually encourage skiers to take two lessons in one day rather than come multiple days in one week. We've experienced that by taking a short break between lessons your energy level stays up, you ski with similar conditions, and there tends to be less review time which leaves more time to progress. Q: What do I need to bring? A: Bathing Suit, Sun Screen, Any equipment that you would like to use, water, towel... Q: Is there anywhere I can get something to eat? A: Farmer City has a Subway, Casey's Pizza, Family Diner, and a Dewey's (Great place to get a burger and fries) Q: Is there a place to stay if we're from out of town? A: Yes! Here are a couple of options: 1.) Holiday Inn in Leroy, IL: This is about 15 minutes from our shop. 705 S Persimmons Ct, Le Roy, IL 61752 (309) 962-4439 2.) Bloomington & Champaign, IL: Bloomington and Champaign are both about 25 minutes from our site. If you'd like to have the option of going out to dinner or seeing a movie at night; Bloomington and Champaign are two good options. 3.) Camp on site: You are welcome to camp at our site. We do not currently offer amenities, but there is always room for a tent. 4.)
