Starting in April and running straight through the month of October The Liquid Edge coaches an average of 50 lessons per week. To help everyone understand more about how our lessons work, we put together this list of Frequently Asked Questions.

Q: How good do I have to be to get a lesson?

A: There are no ability requirements for our lessons. We have taught children as young as 3 to adults in their 70’s.

Q: What can I learn?

A: Slalom, Wakeboard, Barefoot, Two Ski, anything that you want to learn how to do on the water we will teach you. Many people that take lessons with us just want to learn how to get up on skis or a wakeboard. Others want to learn how they can be good enough to ski a slalom course at shorter rope lengths, and some want to learn how they can get upside down on a wakeboard on purpose. We have experienced and coached it all.

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: If you prefer to use your own equipment it is definitely encouraged. However, we do have demo gear for people that don’t have their own. If you do need to use our equipment we do ask that you show up 30 minutes before your lesson to get fitted. That way we are not wasting water time.

Q: How do I sign up for a lesson?

A: It’s really very simple:

  • Click on the link “Lesson Calendar” link on the left side of the page
  •  Once you are on that page you will see a calendar with names and timeslots
    •  These are names of people that have already booked lessons for those time slots.
  • If you would like to book a lesson on a day/time that doesn’t have anyone’s name assigned to it, fill out the form at the bottom of the page and click submit.
  • We will send you an e-mail confirming your lesson, and add you to our calendar.

Q: What if something comes up and I have to cancel my lesson?

A: We understand that things do come up at times. Therefore our cancellation policy is pretty simple. If you have to cancel a lesson you can do so by e-mail or phone up to 24 hours before the lesson with no penalty. However, if you must cancel less than 24 hours prior to the lesson there is a $15 timeslot holding fee.

Q: How much does a lesson cost, and how long do they last?

A: A lesson slot lasts between 20 and 30 mins, depending on how much coaching is done, and costs $45.00.
